The book explores issues in Catholic school leadership and the tensions between building community and following Church policies and introduces deliberate practice as a method for leadership formation. This is my first book and has been an ongoing project for the past couple of years. Having attended a Catholic parochial grammar school, a Catholic high school, and a Catholic college, and then having spent these past 21 years as a teacher, administrator, and Board member in Catholic schools, I can say with confidence that this is single most important book I have read on the future of the Catholic Church.
